I work with a team of 6 staff who assist with the responsibilities for our allocated client list. Typical tasks include tax compliance work, such as preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, activity statement; but then also include ad hoc tax advice provided to our clients when required.

  • The people! We have got the most wholesome, friendliest and the nicest people you can find and that just helps so much especially when you are starting your first professional job. The tone at the top really does make a difference because this quality is from partners right through to the cadets.

  • The wide variety of clients that we have access to work with directly. I have also formed a bond with a number fellow employees at the firm and the strong staff culture has really assisted this.

Cons

    • Having to complete timesheets.

    • As a graduate when it is very busy or there isn't much work to do often you may have to watch company training videos.

    • We deal with some larger clients with strict deadlines which can put some pressure on delivering tasks.

    • Deadlines, busy periods
